At Everlast Industrial Flooring, we are a locally owned family company that want to let you know we’re thinking about all of you- our people, our customers, our suppliers and community as we work through this ever changing time.

Furthermore, Everlast wants to do its part in helping to repair, repurpose and upgrade the infrastructures necessary to reduce the spread of this disease.  Some establishments in healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical supply manufacturing, food and beverage processing, manufacturing, chemical processing, packaging facilities, warehousing, and grocery stores, are faced with unplanned facility expansions and renovations due to the increase supply and demand.

Other facilities are shutting down and slowing down operations such as restaurants, schools and other small businesses. Many facilities are using this downtime to complete their upgrades and renovations.

To be ahead of the game choosing an epoxy floor or polished concrete flooring system will provide these facilities with a durable flooring system that is easy to clean and sanitary and have the properties required to make your facility safe and productive.

Our epoxy flooring and polished concrete flooring systems are designed to be hygienic surfaces that can be properly disinfected and cleaned.   Our floor systems are seamless surfaces that are chemical resistant, thermal shock resistant, slip resistant, easy to clean and maintain, sanitary and meet ADA, USDA, FDA, CFIA and OSHA standards.

All of our Flooring installers and professionals are following preventative safety measures.

  • Cleaning our hands often, 20 seconds with soap.
  • Using hand sanitizer.
  • Keeping a safe distance (6 feet) from people.
  • Wearing protective masks and gloves
  • Cleaning frequently touched surfaces.

Feeling safe & Working Healthy- What you need to do today to prepare:

When designing workspaces, selection of materials is vitally important. In the past, materials may have been selected strictly based on aesthetics. However, now the safety of materials is even more crucial.

More porous materials might harbor bacteria. Our Epoxy Flooring systems and Polished Concrete systems are more durable and easier to clean than traditional flooring options such as carpet or even tile where bacteria can get caught in the grout.

Now is the perfect time to do an assessment of your space to see if there are any potential dangers you can update now before employees return, so that they feel comfortable when they do.

We also offer an EPA approved disinfectant cleaner that is safe to use on our floor finishes as well as doorknobs, switch plates, bathrooms, equipment handles etc.  This disinfectant is for use against emerging enveloped viral pathogens and can be used during the 2019 novel coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
